They want to bury their mistakes.
I have been a client of this wonderful clinic ever since Dr. McQuade purchased it from Dr. Smith. I would never trust my pets with anyone else.
I Love Dr. McQuade and her co-doctors and staff.
I have been taking my animals to this vet for a couple years now. The receptionists are awesome, Terry and the rest of the staff are just wonderful. We know our animals are in good hands which is why we continue our services with North Country Animal Hospital. Thank you for all your services, without all of you we would not have our "big guy" here with us today!!
Every service from new pets, surgery, tests, spaying, neutering, illness, emergencies, senior pet care, and yes even that final good-bye have been rendered to my many pets with care, love, and compassion.
I'm actually suspicious about the couple of good reviews this place has. They may have written them themselves. I really think this area needs more vets that know about and care about our pets. I went there once because, sadly, they had the least bad reviews. I'm sorry to say I was disappointed. It's like they have no soul, no compassion for our pets. Clearly they are not in it for love of our creatures, but rather for money only. I get the business aspect of it and I will always pay my vet bills, but they were insulting in the way that every word and action was designed to cause me to spend more money. I just asked her to look at one little thing beyond a regular wellness visit, and she tried to talk me into making another appointment but I refused. It took her 10 seconds to look at a bump on my cat and charged me over $20 extra for that 10 seconds. She never checked my pet's temperature and just rolled her eyes when I asked about that and about cleaning my cat's ears. I didn't dare to ask about trimming his claws. I didn't want to embarrass either of us.You can tell when a vet likes her patients and likes her job. I don't think she likes either. The most important thing for her was directing me to the cash register for what turned out to be and extra 60 bucks on top of a prepaid visit. Either they are desperately broke, or they are just plain greedy. Either way these people have no soul and will never see me or any of my family or friends again. I will try someone else and keep trying until I find the right vet even if I have to drive to Bangor or beyond. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this stone cold business.
Thank you.
North Country has recently been sold. In the last week I have had a terrible customer service experience and an ok one. At the front desk, at least, Jami is the only staff member with any empathy or compassion.
